Writing prompt 21

Waiting, waiting never gets better. Waiting causes things to pile and pile atop the things that are already abundantly in front of you, spending to long waiting on something can make u miss your shot. If you wait for an opportunity to come to you it may never come. You may need to reach out and grab that opportunity. To many people fail because they never took the chance to change and so they never did.

Writing prompt 20

Every school year I plan to be a better student. But i never care enough to put in the work. I will do anything to avoid school. Even though I plan to do better it always falls through because I have no interest and why put time into something you don’t care about. In my eyes there is a million better things to do than go to school and be lectured for hours upon hours.

Writing prompt 18

I wish that I could ask more questions in general but I struggle to ask anything at all. The problem isn’t putting the words together rather saying them. I find it hard to asl even the most basic questions in fear of embarrassment. I often find myself find the answers to questions myself just to avoid conversation.

Writing prompt 17

I forgot about my old friend Nicky. We had been friends since I could remember. I know I spent a lot of time with him but don’t have many memories because we were so young. I never catch myself thinking about my time spent with him because I forgot about Nicky.

In 7th grade I played at Henderson middle school and we where looking like the best team in the county heading into the playoffs. After crushing our opponent in the quarterfinals we made our way to the semifinals. It was a cold and rainy Saturday morning sometime in November. We were all focused on the task ahead. We started the game off hot with a kick return for a touchdown but the glory didn’t last. By halftime it was  18-6. At half time our coach rallied the team up and got us back into the fighting spirit bit as the game progressed I noticed my teammates where exhausted and couldn’t give much more. This is the moment I knew it was over. We eventually lost 6-32 and they opposing team went on to win the championship.

School. School is not fun at all. I much rather be doing a task or learning something that is hands on, simply building something is much more fun than anything we do in school. For the past 12 years I’ve been in school I never feel like a fit it and being able to have a break my junior and senior year is a relief. I feel like school drains the life out of people and get them on track to work a 9-5 desk job the rest of there life. Not me, I’m not falling for the trap I need to get out and explore with the limited time we have on earth.

Writing prompt 14

I am certain in the existence of big foot. The lack of evidence causes me to believe the government is trying to hide the creature. I am 100% sure without a doubt that big foot is what we believe to be Alien life.

 The Trojan horse

Writing prompt 11

There have been many secrets that where kept from me. Being the youngest in a family of 4 boys I was always lied to by my brothers and they would hide all sorts of secrets I always wanted to know. I would try everything for them to say the secret. Eventually we would come to some sort of agreement that is I did there chores they would tell me the secret. And almost every time I did this the secret would be something underwhelming that I had no interest in. My brothers are a lot older than me so it was pretty easy for them to trick me.

In the year 1942 there was a boy who lived with his mother in a small town in Montana. So small in fact that the nearest building was almost a  mile away. When the boy was younger his father was drafted into the Great War  and unfortunately he never made it back home to his family. His wife grew very protective over the boy and didn’t let him do much beside work for the family farm, eat ,and sleep. But one day the boy noticed a piece of mail addressed to him, he told his mother and she was quick to act. She ripped the paper out of his hands and said the mail was sent from the devil and he should not be reading it. The boy noticed his mother had been suspicious over the past few months. This bothered her son who was curious as to what was going on. So one night the boy decided to go through his mother things, he then found exactly what he was looking for. The mail, he read the note addressed to him and he was shocked. His mother was so fearful of losing more family in wars she ...

Writing prompt 9

You can’t lie to yourself after loving something true and I’ve never loved a soul the way I loved you. You said you hated everything I’ve become. I miss the way you followed when we jaywalked in the street. I’d fight any man and I’d stop any river if it meant I could lay here forever. So take it slow as you leave me, with the sand in your hair blinding a boy who never meant no harm.

Writing prompt 8

When I was younger I had a great sense for building things and engineering. I used to build all sorts of things, I would build boats out of large plastic bins and float them down the creek. Once I fully disassemble a red Ryder BB gun and put it back together all because I was bored. But as I’ve gotten older I struggle to find joy in these little things and do not often see myself wanting to build anything at all.

Writing prompt 7

I once had an old friend named Nicky. I know that I spent a lot of time with him when I was younger but I wish I remembered more of the times I spent with him. I haven’t heard from Nicky in 10 years.

Writing prompt 6

A time I knew for sure I was in deep trouble was when I opened Christmas presents early one year. About a week before Christmas I couldn’t sleep, the thought of my Christmas presents kept me awake all night. I couldn’t resist so I had to make a move. I snuck past my parents room and into the living room. I headed in the direction of the tree I heard my parents bedroom door open I quickly ran into the kitchen in an attempt to hide but my dad saw my foot peaking  out from under the dinner table he asked me what I was doing and I answered “nothing” my dad was suspicious and carried me back to my room to sleep he tucked me in and I waited. Once I thought the coast was clear I headed back to the living room where I carefully pealed the tape off to look at my gifts. But little did I know I pressed a button on the back of the toy which made a noise loud enough to wake up my entire family. It did exactly that. I heard my parents door open again and I knew I was in trouble

Writing prompt 5

I have too much free time, I often spend my time doing the wrong things such as scrolling on my phone .I much rather use my time reconnecting with nature. I can rarely build up the energy to do something productive ,but when I do I spend it outside. I like to spend this time fishing, fishing helps clear my mind, it bring me back To a simpler time when my grandfather would still fish with me.

He watched as the storm worsened, knowing Betsy was distressed he grabbed a rain jacket and a flashlight and booked it her way. He hopped the fence and the first thing he say was Betsy under a oak tree that has been standing tall for generations. She was giving birth under that tree and after 15 minutes of agonizing pain the new born calf was welcomed into the world. The farmer, exhausted and thrilled sat down with the calf and named him Freyr meaning the god of rain and sunlight.

Writing prompt 1

One Halloween I was spending the day at my friends house. We were playing games trying to pass the time until we went trick or treating. As the day progressed and the sun started to go down I realized I haven’t been home to get my costume. We planned to dress as football players but only one of us had a jersey. I didn’t want to stress about it so I decided to not wear my costume. I went trick or treating that year in the clothes I wore to school.

Today we did popular opinion versus unpopular opinion. Today was interesting because we got to discuss a lot of our opinions. Each paper we got was unique in its own way. It was a good change from what we normally do.

Today we did vocabulary in our books. It was a boring day because we didn’t do much. The vocabulary is getting old especially since we do it a lot. I feel like we aren’t learning much and the way we study them doesn’t help me remember the words.

Today we had a sub so it was a easy day in class. We wrote vocabulary from lesson 4 and answered questions on exercises 1-4. We have a game today so it’s difficult to stay focused on the work. I finished my work pretty early so that gave me time to catch up on blogs. The blogs are getting repetitive since we aren’t leaning anything new.
